Bajgle
Składniki :
• 250 ml letniej wody
• 1 jajko
• 1 łyżeczka soli
• 500 g mąki pszennej typ 550
• 20 g drożdży
• 3 łyżki cukru
• 60 g oleju kukurydzianego lub rzepakowego
ponadto :
• 1 białko do posmarowania
• ziarna do posypania (mak, sezam)
Przygotowanie :
Drożdże rozetrzeć z łyżką cukru, odrobiną wody i mąki. Odstawić na ok. 15 min. Po tym czasie wyrobić wszystkie składniki bardzo dokładnie na koniec dodając olej. Odstawić pod przykryciem w naoliwionej misce na 30 minut. Po tym czasie wyrobić kilka minut i ponownie odstawić na 30 minut. Po tym czasie zagnieść i podzielić na 12 części. Z każdej uformować okrągłą bułeczkę, lekko ją spłaszczyć a w środku zrobić palcem lub drewnianym trzonkiem dziurkę i rozciągnąć. odstawić na 15 min do napuszenia. W tym czasie rozgrzać piekarnik do 200 stopni.
Zagotować wodę i zanurzać w niej bajgle na ok 1 minutę. Wyjąć delikatnie łyżką cedzakową i poczekać aż odciekną. Posmarować białkiem i posypać ziarnami. Wstawić do nagrzanego piekarnika i piec ok. 30-35 min w temp. 200 stopni.
